GRACE / MERCY
YHVH IS AN ELOHIM OF
GRACE / MERCY
THE MERCY OF YHVH FORGIVES SIN
Exodus 34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
Exodus 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin …
THE TORAH DEFINES SIN
Romans 3:20 … for by the Torah is the knowledge of sin
Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the Torah sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin but by the Torah: for I had not known lust except the Torah had said You shall not covet.
1 John 3:4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Torah: for sin is the transgression of the Torah.
YHVH’S DESIRES THAT HIS PEOPLE REPENT OF THEIR SIN
Isaiah 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression and the house of Jacob their sins.
Ezekiel 18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel every one according to his ways says the Lord GOD. Repent and turn yourselves from all your transgressions so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
YHVH’S DESIRES THAT HIS PEOPLE REPENT OF THEIR SIN
Ezekiel 18:21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he has committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
Ezekiel 18:22 All his transgressions that he has committed, that shall not be mentioned unto him: In his righteousness that he has done (repent) he shall live.
Ezekiel 18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked shall die says the Lord God: and not that he should return (repent) from his ways and live? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies, says the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and you shall live.
COMMITTING ONE SIN IS EQUAVALENT TO BREAKING THE ENTIRE TORAH
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole Torah and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
1 John 3:4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Torah: for sin is the transgression of the Torah.
THE TORAH IS THE COVENENT OF YHVH
Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed and keep my covenant …
Exodus 34:27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
TRANSGRESSING THE TORAH
IS BREAKING THE COVENANT
Isaiah 24:5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the Torah <08451> changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
Hosea 8:1 Set the trumpet to your mouth … because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my Torah <08451>.
TRANSGRESSING THE TORAH
IS BREAKING THE COVENANT
Psalm 78:10 They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his Torah <08451>.
Amos 2:4 Thus says the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the Torah <08451> of the LORD and have not kept his commandments …
DISOBEDIENCE TO TORAH RESULTS IN A CURSE
Deuteronomy 11:28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God …
Deuteronomy 27:26 Cursed be he that confirms not all the words of this Torah to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
SIN RESULTS IN DEATH
Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sins, it shall die …
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death …
James 1:15 Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.
SIN IS PUNISHABLE
BY HANGING ON A TREE
Deuteronomy 21:22 And if a man has committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and you hang him on a tree:
YESHUA BORE OUR SINS
UPON THE TREE
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.
THE GRACE OF THE TORAH CAME THROUGH YESHUA
John 1:17  For the Torah was given by Moses but grace and truth came by Yeshua HaMashiach.
YESHUA FORGIVES SIN
Matthew 9:6 But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins …
Mark 2:5 When Yeshua saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, your sins be forgiven you.
FORGIVEN OF:
SIN, INIQUITY AND TRANSGRESSION
David proclaimed those who are blessed by the God of Israel whose transgressions, sins, and iniquities are forgiven. In Psalm / Tehillim 32:1-2, 5 it is written:
Psalm 32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Psalm 32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputes not iniquity and in whose spirit there is no guile
Psalm 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and you forgave my iniquity of my sin.
OUR SINS LAID UPON YESHUA
Isaiah 53:4 Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him: and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid upon him the iniquity of us all.
YESHUA TOOK THE PUNISHMENT
OF THE SINNER UPON HIMSELF
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
THE SHEDDING OF
BLOOD ATONES FOR SIN
It is the blood which makes an atonement for the soul of man. In Leviticus / Vayikra 17:11 it is written:
Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.
YESHUA IS THE LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD
John 1:29 … Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world.
SAVED / REDEEMED BY
THE BLOOD OF YESHUA
By accepting Yeshua as your personal Lord and Savior and by trusting in His shed blood, our sins are forgiven.
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by the grace through the redemption that is in Yeshua HaMashiach:
Romans 3:25 Which God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.
SAVED / REDEEMED BY
THE BLOOD OF YESHUA
We are forgiven of our sins by the blood of Yeshua. In Ephesians 1:7 it is written:
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his (Yeshua’s) blood the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace.
LOVE YESHUA BY
 KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS
Exodus 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Exodus 20:6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Psalm 103:18 To such as keep his covenant and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
YHVH SHOWS GRACE / MERCY TO THOSE WHO SEEK TO FOLLOW HIS TORAH
Psalm 119:29 … grant me your Torah graciously.
Proverbs 31:26 She opens her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the Torah of kindness.
A STONEY HEART
DOESN’T FOLLOW TORAH
Zechariah 7:11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
Zechariah 7:12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the Torah and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.
THE MEANING OF TRUE REPENTANCE
THE HOLY SPIRIT HELPS US TO WALK IN THE TORAH
Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you …
Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Romans 7:22 For I delight in the Torah of God after the inward man:
NEW COVENANT FORGIVENESS OF SINS
Through the New Covenant (Brit Chadashah) and the faith in  the blood of Yeshua to forgive us of our wrong deeds, we can have forgiveness of our sins by God the Father.
Hebrews 10:16 This is the (renewed) covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put my Torah into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them (Jeremiah / Yermiyahu 31:33).
Hebrews 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (Jeremiah / Yermiyahu 31:34)
CONFESSING OUR SINS TO YHVH
If we confess our sins before God the father and trust in the shed blood of Yeshua to forgive us of our sins, we will be cleansed. In I John / Yochanan 1:7-9 it is written:
1 John 1:7 If we walk in the light, and he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Yeshua HaMashiach cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
FORGIVEN AND DEPARTING FROM SIN
Those whose sins are forgiven by the God of Israel through the shed blood of Yeshua on the tree are commanded by Him to forsake their sinful ways.
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, the Lord knows them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Messiah depart from iniquity.

 DESTROYING THE TORAH:
THE TORAH OF THE RABBIS
Rabbi’s Torah               Oral Torah above Written Torah
THE ANCIENT PHARISEES BECAME RABBINIC JUDAISM
                    Source: Wikipedia Encyclopedia
The Pharisees (from the Hebrew perushim, from parash, meaning "to separate") were depending on the time, a political party, a social movement, and a school of thought among Jews that flourished during the Second Temple Era (536 BCE – 70 CE). After the destruction of the Second Temple, Pharisaic Judaism came to be known as Rabbinic Judaism and then simply as Judaism. The Pharisees were an ancient sect of Judaism. They existed during the time of rabbis Hillel the Elder and Shammai and during the time of Jesus. They are the direct predecessor to what eventually became known as Rabbinic Judaism.
THE ANCIENT PHARISEES BECAME RABBINIC JUDAISM
                       Source: Wikipedia Encyclopedia
In contrast to other Jewish groups of the time, such as Sadducees, Pharisees held that the books of the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible also called the written law) have always been transmitted in parallel with an oral tradition. They pointed as proof to the text of the Torah itself where they said many words were left undefined and many procedures mentioned without explanation or instructions; the reader is assumed to be familiar with the details from other sources. This parallel set of material was originally transmitted orally and came to be known as "the oral law". By the year 200 A.D. much of this material was edited together into the Mishnah, the core document of rabbinic Judaism.
THE RABBIS TEACH THAT THE ORAL TORAH WAS TAUGHT AT MOUNT SINAI
THE RABBIS TEACH THAT THE TALMUD WAS GIVEN AT MOUNT SINAI
THE RABBIS TEACH THAT THE ORAL TORAH WAS TAUGHT AT MOUNT SINAI
Talmud: Barachot 5a
R. Levi b. Hama says further in the name of R. Simeon b. Lakish: What is the meaning of the verse:
Exodus 24:12 … And I will give thee the tables of stone, and the law and the commandment, which I have written that thou mayest teach them?
THE RABBIS TEACH THAT THE ORAL TORAH WAS TAUGHT AT MOUNT SINAI
Talmud: Barachot 5a
1) ‘Tables of stone’: these are the ten commandments;
2) ‘the law’: this is the Pentateuch;
3) ‘the commandment’: this is the Mishnah;
4) ‘which I have written’: these are the Prophets and the Hagiographa;
5) ‘that thou mayest teach them’: this is the Gemara.
It teaches [us] that all these things were given to Moses on Sinai.
THE RABBIS TEACH THAT
THE QUESTIONS THAT A STUDENT ASKS HIS RABBI WAS GIVEN AT MOUNT SINAI
THE RABBIS TEACH THAT THE
MISHNAH IS GREATER THAN SCRIPTURE
THE RABBIS TEACH THAT
THEY ARE ABOVE WRITTEN TORAH
TALMUD: RABBIS INTERPRETATION OVERRIDES BIBLICAL COMMANDMENT
Talmud: Eruvin 21b
My son, be more careful in [the observance of] the words of the Scribes than in the words of the Torah, for in the laws of the Torah there are positive and negative precepts; but, as to the laws of the Scribes, whoever transgresses any of the enactments of the Scribes incurs the penalty of death.
TALMUD: RABBIS INTERPRETATION OVERRIDES BIBLICAL COMMANDMENT
Talmud: Pesachim 115a
And even on the view that precepts cannot nullify each other, that applies only to a Biblical [precept] with a Biblical [precept], or a Rabbinical [precept] with a Rabbinical [precept], but in the case of a Scriptural and a Rabbinical [precept], the Rabbinical [one] comes and nullifies the Scriptural [one].
MOSES MAIMONIDES:
INTRODUCTION TO THE MISHNAH
“If there are 1,000 Prophets, all of them of the stature of Elijah and Elisha, giving a certain interpretation, and 1001 Rabbis giving the opposite interpretation, you shall ‘incline after the majority’ (Exodus 23:2) and the law is according to the 1001 Rabbis, not according to the 1,000 venerable prophets … God did not permit us to learn from the prophets only from the Rabbis who are men of logic and reason.”
RABBIS: YHVH SAYS TO
LISTEN TO THE RABBIS
Pesitka Rabbati Section 3
A person must not say,  “ I will not keep the
commandment of the elders because they are not
from the Torah.” The Almighty says to such a
person, “NO My Son! Rather all that they decree
upon you, Observe!  As it is written, According to
the instruction which they teach you (Deut. 17:11)
EVEN I (YHVH) MUST OBEY THEIR DECREE,
as it is written, You will decree and HE will fulfill
it (Job 22:28)
RABBINICAL JUDAISM TEACHES THAT WHEN TWO RABBIS HAVE DIFFERENT OPINIONS THAT BOTH OPINIONS ARE FROM YHVH
Talmud: Eruvin 13b
R. Abba stated in the name of Samuel: For three years there was a dispute between Beth Shammai and Beth Hillel, the former asserting, ‘The halachah is in agreement with our views’ and the latter contending, ‘The halachah is in agreement with our views’. Then a bath kol [heavenly voice] issued announcing, ‘[The utterances of] both are the words of the living God but the halachah is in agreement with the rulings of Beth Hillel’.
RABBINICAL JUDAISM TEACHES
THAT THEIR RULINGS ARE GREATER THAN THE VOICE OF HEAVEN
Talmud: Baba Metzia 59b
It has been taught: On that day R. Eliezer brought forward every imaginable argument but they [the other rabbis] did not accept them. Said he to them: ‘If the halachah agrees with me, let this carob-tree prove it!’ Thereupon the carob-tree was torn a hundred cubits out of its place — others affirm, four hundred cubits. ‘No proof can be brought from a carob-tree,’ they retorted.
RABBINICAL JUDAISM TEACHES
THAT THEIR RULINGS ARE GREATER THAN THE VOICE OF HEAVEN
Talmud: Baba Metzia 59b
Again he said to them: ‘If the halachah agrees with me, let the stream of water prove it!’ Whereupon the stream of water flowed backwards — ‘No proof can be brought from a stream of water,’ they rejoined.
RABBINICAL JUDAISM TEACHES
THAT THEIR RULINGS ARE GREATER THAN THE VOICE OF HEAVEN
Talmud: Baba Metzia 59b
Again he said to them: ‘If the halachah agrees with me, let it be proved from Heaven!’ Whereupon a Heavenly Voice cried out: ‘Why do ye dispute with R. Eliezer, seeing that in all matters the halachah agrees with him!’
RABBINICAL JUDAISM TEACHES
THAT THEIR RULINGS ARE GREATER THAN THE VOICE OF HEAVEN
Talmud: Baba Metzia 59b
But R. Joshua arose and exclaimed: ‘It is not in heaven.’ What did he mean by this? — Said R. Jeremiah: That the Torah had already been given at Mount Sinai; we pay no attention to a Heavenly Voice, because Thou hast long since written in the Torah at Mount Sinai, After the majority [of rabbis] must one incline [accept their ruling].
THE RABBIS TEACH THAT YOU SHOULD FOLLOW THEM EVEN IF THEY SAY
RIGHT IS LEFT AND LEFT IS RIGHT
 DESTROYING THE TORAH:
THE TORAH OF THE RABBIS
Rabbi’s Torah               Oral Torah above Written Torah
DESTROYING THE TORAH:
THE TORAH OF THE RABBIS
The Oral law (Talmud) is above the written law
Don’t listen to the prophets even if they are correct if it doesn’t agree with the rabbis
Don’t listen to a heavenly voice if it disagrees with the rabbis
YHVH must follow the teachings of the rabbis
YESHUA FULFILLS (BRINGS THE CORRECT TEACHING) OF THE TORAH
John 7:16  Yeshua answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine but his that sent me.
John 8:28 Then said Yeshua unto them … as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.
YESHUA FULFILLS (BRINGS THE CORRECT TEACHING) OF THE TORAH
John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
John 14:24 … the word which ye hear is not mine but the Father's which sent me.
ORAL LAW = TRADITION OF THE FATHERS
ORAL LAW = YOU MUST WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE YOU EAT
Matthew 15:2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? (Oral law) for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
IN RABBINIC JUDAISM, WASHING YOUR HANDS IS REQUIRED
YOU COULD BE EXCOMMUNICATED FOR NOT WASHING YOUR HANDS
Talmud: Berachot 19a
R. Joshua b. Levi further said: In twenty-four places we find that the Beth din inflicted excommunication for an insult to a teacher, and they are all recorded in the Mishnah.
R. Eleazar asked him, Where? He replied: See if you can find them. He went and examined and found three cases: one of a scholar who threw contempt on the washing of the hands, another of one who made derogatory remarks about scholars after their death, and a third of one who made himself too familiar towards heaven.
THE PHARISEES FOLLOWED
THE ORAL LAW
Luke 11:37 And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in and sat down to meat.
Luke 11:38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.
Luke 11:39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.
ORAL LAW (TRADITION OF THE ELDERS) SOMETIMES VIOLATES WRITTEN TORAH
Matthew 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God (destroy the written Torah) by your tradition (Oral law interpretation) ?
ORAL LAW = YOU CANNOT
CARRY A BED ON THE SABBATH
John 5:8  Yeshua said unto him, Rise, take up your bed and walk.
John 5:9 … and on the same day was the sabbath.
John 5:10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful (Oral law) for you to carry thy bed.
ORAL LAW = 39 CATEGORIES
OF WORK ON THE SABBATH
Talmud: Shabbat 73a
            1. Sowing                    11. Baking
            2. Plowing                   12. Shearing wool

Matthew 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful (Oral Law) to do upon the sabbath day.
WALKING IN YESHUA’S TORAH
WILL BRING REST TO YOUR SOUL
Jeremiah 6:16 Thus says the LORD … ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.
Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Matthew 11:30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
