    Dear Mishpachah (family):


       Thanks so much to all of the newsgroup members who kept my 
dad in your prayers. Dad had surgery on March 25, 1998. He had a 
pinched nerve in his neck and two degenerate vertabraes. The doctor 
took a bone from my dad's hip and fused it between the 4th and 5th 
vertebraes in his neck. Because of this problem, dad has been losing 
strength and use of his arms. Prior to the surgery, he could not 
lift his arms above his waist. He returned home on March 27, 1998.

       He has to wear a neck brace for three months. He will start 
therapy in six weeks. It will not be known (in the natural) until 
after dad starts his therapy treatments whether he will regain any 
strength in his arms BUT, we serve a MIGHTY GOD who is the healer of 
our bodies through faith in the blood of Yeshua/Jesus shed on the 
tree!

        Many of you wrote me a note telling me that you were praying 
for my dad and wanted to know how he is doing. He is still sore from 
the surgery both in his neck and hip. Thanks to all for your warm 
thoughts and prayers. Please keep my dad in prayer for a full 
recovery after the surgery!
