Subject: John Hagee - Festivals
Dear Eddie:
While I only caught a portion of it, John Hagee, Cornerstone
Church, San Antonio, Tx. while appearing on TBN's Praise The Lord
telecast 01/20/98, preached about Seven Festivals. He included a
brief explanation of each Festival. Material apparently comes from his
latest book currently being released. I failed to remember the name
of the book.
I did not hear him say anything about the Sabbath days during
the time I listened to him. While he mentioned the Ten Commandments,
he generalized. The latter reminds me that several years ago I ran
across him preaching a series of messages on the Ten Commandments.
Not surprising, when he reached the 4th., he went into a tap-dance
routine, leaving all 'perfectly unclear' as to what was correct.
If others heard it in it's entirety, maybe they'll comment.
Shalom!
P.C. Mixon, Townsend, Tn.

I did not watch the program but I did have others tell me
about it. I did happen to watch his Sunday's sermon on
TBN entitled, "Israel: The Apple of God's Eye". It was a VERY VERY
VERY VERY VERY Pro-Israel message. The message was simply
outstanding!
John Hagee loves the Jewish people. John Hagee loves and
supports the nation of Israel. John Hagee unashamedly talks about his
love for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. Most recently,
John Hagee contributed one million dollars (you will see this in the
Arutz-7 News from Israel which I would be forwarding to the
newsgroup) to help offset the cost of bringing Russian Jews to
Israel. I don't know very many Christian organizations who have given
one million dollars to show their love and support for the Jewish
people and the nation of Israel as did John Hagee.
He said that this coming Sunday that he will be talking about the
Festivals! He said that this is mainly an unheard message in the
Christian churches.
Let's give credit where credit is due. John Hagee (or much of
Christianity) was not talking about the Festivals 5 or 10 years ago.
However, God is awakening the church to the significance of
richness of our Hebraic Roots and how the Biblical Festivals teach
about the 1st and 2nd coming of the Messiah and our personal
relationship with God. I sent John Hagee a copy of my book, "The
Seven Festivals of the Messiah". Did he read it? I don't know but I
do praise God that John Hagee is now talking about the Biblical
Festivals on TBN and in his sermons at his church. Many more
Christians will be open to studying and observing the Biblical
Festivals because of how God is using John Hagee's influence among
Christians to encourage them to examine the Biblical Festivals and
their importance in the plan of God.
I am blessed that so many people on the newsgroup have
read my book, "The Seven Festivals of the Messiah". I am currently
negotiating with the publisher to get the book reprinted. I am
excited that when the book is reprinted that many more people will be
able to study about the Festivals of our Messiah.
I praise God for how He is using people like John Hagee
to awaken Christians to stand with the Jewish people, support the
nation of Israel and examine our Hebraic Roots and the importance of
the Biblical Festivals. Baruch HaShem!
