Dear Eddie,
Thank you for your including me into 'the family'.
There has been so many things in my heart that
i could not put words to and i find them explained
by you and many who are part of 'the family'. lately
i have had to deal with questions about the feasts
and the Sabbath. i usually stay solid, but when i see
what i just gave as a response addressed in even
greater detail i am comforted that i am not way
out in left field.
Living in miami provides a vast number of interesting
resources, but there comes a time when that 'quiet
voice' warns you that a certain question may be a
little too delicate or untimely. For a long time i have
been walking on the edge as i find the Hebrew images
meshing with the Prophetic today. i know they are
all the same within the Pattern of the Kingdom....
but this is a little more radical than i am used to.
Eddie, i am not really sure what i am looking for,
so please bear with me.
This all revolves around the Ninth of Av. Historically
i know most of the events that took place and there
is references to it and either the birth or coming of
Messiah. any information on such i welcome.
But there is something else. lets just say i got
a chunk of rhema that i can not hang some logos
on , yet.
it is written, 'seek and you shall find'....

I have read several books that tell of significant
historical events that have happened on the ninth of Av. To begin
with, the 1st and 2nd temples were destroyed on the ninth of Av.
I know that (Marion Kremers spelling?) published a book
about Israel and end time prophetic events that lists significant
historical events that happened on the ninth of Av and other
significant day in Jewish history. Cheryle do you have this book
around the house? I do but I don't know where it is at the moment.
There must be some newsgroup members who have access to some
of this information that can share it with us. Let us wait to hear
from them also. Members, what can you share with us ???

The following is from Encyclopedia Judaica:
On the 9th of Av it was decreed that the Children of Israel
after the Exodus from Egypt, should not enter the Promised land.
The first and 2nd Temples were destroyed.
Bethar, the last stronghold of the leaders of the Bar Kokhba war
was captured in 135 C.E.
One year later, in 136, the Roman emperor Hadrian established a heathen
temple on the site of the Temple and rebuilt Jerusalem as a pagan city
which was renamed Aelia Capitolina and which the Jews were forbidden to
enter.
The expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492 is said also to have
occurred on the 9th of Av.

10 AV 586AD: Burning of Temple, Jews deported to Babylon (Jer.
52:12)
9 Av 70AD : The Temple was set afire by soldiers, contrary to Titus
order:Tirtus entered the "Holy Place" of the Temple and ordered his
six commanders to save the Temple. The unrestrainable soldiers hoped
for plunder, seeing all the gold on the building, and threw fire upon
the Temple itself.
9 AV 130AD: Plowing of Jerusalem - Emperor Hadrian ordered Govenor
Tineius Rufus to plow Jerusalem along the line of the projected walls
of new city, "Aelia Capitolina" This "plowing" fulfilled Micah 3:12
to erase "Judea" from memory, Hadrian changed its name to Palestine.
9 Av 135AD: Romans Crush the Second Revolt- Last Jewish fortress at
Betar fell. Bar Kokhba and his men were killed and Rabbi Akiva was
executed.
9 AV (July 18), 1290: King Edward I banished all Jews from England.
They had to leave be All Saints Day, October 31.
9 AV 1626: Birth of Shabbetai Zevi, a false messiah.
Does anyone know the dates of 9 AV this year and next?
