HaY'Did out here in Independence, KS has finally made a decision about our Tabernacles celebration. WE've had a few inquiries from some newsgroup members and thought it was time to share with you what we will be doing Oct.15-19, l997. None of us have money, okay? And we wanted to "simplify" and enjoy our time with Rabbi Othniel and family, too. So we are going to have a simple time right here in our area instead of paying registration fees to a building. So here, the plan.... NO registration fee! How simple can that be! We have a large yard, and so do others in our group, and we have the teachers, so we will have our Tabernacles as a progressive dinner party going from house to house. We will do "pot luck" with themes each night, put up the sukkahs, and sit outside under the stars until 10:00 pm (city curfew for noise). Philip Nowland will be here from England, Rabbi Othniel and other teachers will be sharing messages, and teachings each evening, but basically we will major on the themes of Tabernacles/Sukkot of fellowshiping. Needless to say, it won't be a dude ranch, but we have 5 lakes that are within a few minutes of us with LOTS of campgrounds for the RVs that might want to come in. Peggy has been a cancer survivor for 7 years, and last month another cancerous lump was removed under the scar tissue from that surgery. The next week 2 more lumps were found and verified by 2 doctors. We then asked for prayer. BARUCH HASHEM! When she went back to the doctors to schedule surgery last week, both the lumps were gone! All glory to God! Peggy is not a member of this newsgroup at the moment but wished to thank everyone for their prayers, and to give all the glory to HIM. She is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy and prayerfully hopes to meet us in Little Rock August 6-9 for the JERUSALEM CONFERENCE. We give HIM all the glory for HIS healing power!
