I would just like to inform the newsgroup that before the destruction of
the second temple there were seven different groups of pharisees. 
Many of the Pharisees were NOT against Yesh=FAa/Jesus, see 
John 3:1-2. 

There are Talmudic texts which speek very strongly agaist those 
pharisees who are hypocrites, so Yesh=FAa wasn't the only one who 
attacked the hypocrite pharisees.

I suppose that Yesh=FAa was taught in a phariseean school, because the pha=
risees were the 
teachers in the country outside Jerusalem and especcially Galilee.

Saul/Paul was a pharisee and he still considered himself as a pharisee in =
Acts 23:6. "I AM a Pharisee, 
the son of Pharisee..."

So we have to understand that not all the pharisees where anti-Messiah. Bu=
t those of the 
pharisees who where against Yesh=FAa laid the ground for the Rabbinical Ju=
daism, in Yavne 
after the destruction of the second temple.
