We are going to continue our discussions on the subject:

"How are non-Jews to express their faith in YHVH".

My recent articles on Acts 15 were a response from Blaine Krisp
who a JEWISH BELIEVER in Messiah. After initially reading my article
on "How are non-Jews to express their faith in YHVH", he wrote a
reply to the newsgroup and said that non-Jews DON'T have to keep the
Torah but only the four requirements from the ruling in Acts 15.

Therefore because Acts 15 is so misunderstood both by JEWISH
BELIEVERS in the Messiah and traditional CHRISTIANITY in general, the
last couple weeks, I have written several articles to explain the
ruling in Acts 15 from a Hebraic perspective.

In this article, I want to respond to another criticism made by
Blaine regarding non-Jews who desire to express their faith in YHVH
through Yahshua / Jesus by "loving Him and keeping His commandments"
(John 14:15) (keeping the Torah). Blaine makes an accusation that
those non-Jews who do desire to express their faith in YHVH through
Yahshua AFTER they are saved that they are "saying they are Jews but
are not but are really of the synogogue of Satan". Therefore in this article, I
want to discuss the Hebraic understanding of the phrase, "Say they
are Jews but are of the synogogue of Satan".

First, let us review the reply sent by Blaine.

In reference to your e-mail, Should gentiles keep the Law of
Moses? We are in need to understand somethings before we delve into
coming against our brethren. In the early century, we find that the
faith of excepting Yeshua as the Messiah was mainly Jewish. When we
began to see it explode to the Gentiles, like a natural thing, we find
that there becomes a desire to convert those who are not like us to do
the things that we should do. I am Jewish and I believe in Yeshua.
Does that mean that the gentiles should do what I believe that they
should do "convert into Judaism? NO! this is not what Mr Eddie
Chumney from the Hebraic Heritagte Ministries Int'l is giving you.
What this man is not telling you is what the Holy Spirit had
estabelished in Acts 15 & Acts 21.

Acts 15:22: Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole
church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul
and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men
among the brethren: 23: And they wrote letters by them after this
manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the
brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:
24: Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us
have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must
be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
25: It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send
chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26: Men that
have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27:

We have from the Holy Spirit that the gentiles as far as
touching the laws that:

1. they should abstain from meats offered to idols
2. and from things strangled
3. and from fornication

Are gentiles supposed to keep the 10 Commandments of course, the
Laws of Moses are more than just keeping of the 10 Commandments. We
have ordanances, customs, Laws, Comandments, and Sacrifices. The laws
that govern the Nation of Israel are not to keep, and the Laws thats
pertaining to the Sacrifical System Gentiles are not to keep. Every
Nation has its own governing laws. This Nation has more laws than you
can shake a stick at.are gentiles still to keep the sacrifical system?
of course not. Are gentiles to keep the Jewish feasts no. It is not
required. Because of the taking away of the Jewish things in
Christianity, God has applied the difference between Christianity and
the Jewish people. The Jewish people are to keep these thing because
God has commanded them to keep these things, but for the Christians.
if they want to keep these things. its ok, but not a requirement.

As the centuries has passed you have more Christians than you
have Jewish believers. There becomes an opposition of what was intended
for the Jewish people to Keep the Laws of Moses. Christians have
presented and said to the Jewish people that you should convert into
Christianity and not keep the Laws of Moses. Paul was preaching to
the gentiles and there were Jewish people there who were keeping the
Laws of Moses. Paul was saying that the gentiles did not need to keep
the Laws of Moses and there were Jewish people there. This was not
right for the Jewish people were to keep the Laws of Moses. Let me
remind you that Paul was sent by God to the Gentiles and not to the
Jewish people.

Acts 21:20: And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said
unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are
which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: 21: And they are
informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the
Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise
their children, neither to walk after the customs. 22: What is it
therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear
that thou art come. 23: Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have
four men which have a vow on them; 24: Them take, and purify thyself
with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their
heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed
concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest
orderly, and keepest the law. 25: As touching the Gentiles which
believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such
thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to
idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication. 26:
Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them
entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of
purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one
of them.

I do not know how clearer you can get. The scriptures are very
clear about the Jewish people are to keep the Laws of Moses and the
gentiles are not demaned to keep all the Laws of Moses.

There are people like Eddie Chumney from Hebraic Heritagte
Ministries Int'l who is desired to be Jewish. I do not know if he is
or not, but if anyone who is not Jewish who calls him/herself Jewish
is in direct violation of God and this is what the scriptures says
about this kind of person:

Rev 2:9: I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art
rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and
are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

It is ok for a gentile or Christian to have a desire to keep the
Laws of Moses, to keep Shabbat, The feasts exc., but to be calling
yourself a Jew and you are not, this is not right. The MJAA is a very
good orginization and I would not seek to bring Judgement against them
Mr. Chumney least God comes against you and brings forth Judgement
against You!

In Blaine's reply to my article: "How are non-Jews to express
their faith in YHVH", Blaine attempts to make the following claims in
his reply.

#1) Non-Jews are to keep SOME of the Torah (10 commandments ...
except for the 4th commandment about keeping the Sabbath) but not ALL
of the commandments (the sacrificial Torah commands are ONLY for
Jews)

BLAINE SAID:

"We have from the Holy Spirit that the gentiles as far as

3. and from fornication

BLAINE MADE THE POINT:

#2) Non-Jewish believers in Messiah are NOT to keep the Biblical
Festivals (he called them JEWISH feasts rather than what the Torah
says in Lev 23 that these are the FEASTS of YHVH)

#3) TWO different set of Torah instructions based upon whether one is
Jewish or non-Jewish

In partial reply to these charges by Blaine, I wrote several
articles the last few weeks on Acts 15.

The conclusion from these articles was that the four requirements
from Acts 15 were TORAH requirements for a NON-JEW to live a HOLY
life before YHVH and not be CUT-OFF for living a LIFE of disobedience
which caused the nation of Israel to be exiled into the nations.

BLAINE MADE THE POINT:

#4) If a non-Jew desires to follow Torah then they are trying to be
"Jewish". In other words, this person believes that the Torah =
Jewish. If a non-Jew tries to follow Torah then they are trying to be
'Jews' and are instead of the "synagogue of Satan"

WHAT IS THE SYNOGOGUE OF SATAN?

I have been studying the Hebraic roots of Christianity since 1989.
Since that time, I have become very familiar with the Hebraic roots /
Messianic Jewish movement in the body of Messiah.

The MJAA (Messianic Jewish Alliance of America) and UMJC (Union of
Messianic Jewish congregations) DON'T WANT non-Jews to keep the
Sabbath, Biblical Festivals and the Torah commandments of the
Messiah. When non-Jews DO attempt to celebrate the Sabbath, Biblical
Festivals etc in a Messianic Jewish (MJAA or UMJC) setting, non-Jews
are often called "Jewish wannabees" or accused of trying to SAY
that we are "Jews".

I am non-Jewish. I don't attempt to try to express my faith in
YHVH through Yahshua by observing the Sabbath and Biblical Festivals
because I desire to be Jewish. I do so because it is BIBLICAL. I
desire to do so because I am a FOLLOWER of YAHSHUA. You CANNOT follow
someone unless you DO what they DO.

Messiah said these words to His disciples: "FOLLOW me"

Messiah celebrated Sabbath. Messiah celebrated Passover even to the
day of His death on the tree.

MESSIAH KEPT THE SABBATH

KJV Luke 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up:
and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day,
and stood up for to read.

IT IS BIBLICAL FOR NON-JEWS TO KEEP THE SABBATH

KJV Isaiah 56:2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man
that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it,
and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

KJV Isaiah 56:3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined
himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me
from his people:

WE are COMMANDED in the BIBLE that the STRANGER who has "joined
himself to YHVH" (meaning they are in COVENANT relationship with Him)
to NOT say, "YHVH has SEPARATED ME from HIS PEOPLE".

HOW would a NON-JEW be SEPARATED from the people of YHVH? We would
be SEPARATED IF we are NOT in COVENANT relationship with Him.

So HOW is a STRANGER who is NOT SEPARATED from His people to
express His COVENANT relationship to YHVH?

KJV Isaiah 56:4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my
sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my
covenant;

STRANGER = KEEP MY SABBATH = TAKE HOLD OF MY COVENANT

KJV Isaiah 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to
the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his
servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and
taketh hold of my covenant;

MESSIAH KEPT THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES

KJV John 7:2 Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.

KJV John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus
stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and
drink.

ALL NATIONS WILL KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES

KJV Zechariah 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is
left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up
from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep
the feast of tabernacles.

Therefore, I seek to observe the Sabbath and Biblical Festivals
because I am in COVENANT relationship with YHVH through Yahshua the
Messiah and I seek to FOLLOW HIM. I do NOT seek to be "Jewish".

NON-JEWS ARE TO CELEBRATE THE FEASTS

KJV Deuteronomy 16:11 And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God,
thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy
maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the
STRANGER, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are AMONG YOU, in
the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.

KJV Deuteronomy 16:16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear
before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the
FEAST of UNLEAVENED BREAD [Passover], and in the FEAST of WEEKS, and
in the FEAST of TABERNACLES: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

So if the TORAH and the WORDS OF MESSHAH are CLEAR that NON-JEWS
(STRANGER) who is in COVENANT relationship with YHVH are to observe
the SABBATH and the annual FESTIVALS then why do JEWISH BELIEVERS
call non-Jews who desire to FOLLOW YHVH the Father and Yahshua by
loving HIM and KEEPING His comamndments (John 14:15) call us: "Jewish
wannabees" and some like Blaine that we are "SAYING we are JEWS but
are of the synogogue of Satan" ???

Quite simply, by doing so they are fulfilling prophecy. The Torah
tells us how Joseph was hated by His brothers. The MESSIAH was
prophecied to lead JOSEPH like a flock.

KJV Psalm 80:1 {To the chief Musician upon Shoshannimeduth, A Psalm of
Asaph.} Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, (MESSIAH YAHSHUA) thou that
leadest JOSEPH like a flock

There is family anomousity within the covennat family of YHVH
between Ephraim and Judah. However when Messiah returns and sets up
His Messianic Kingdom, this anomousity will end.

KJV Isaiah 11:13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the
adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah,
and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

MESSIANIC JUDAH is having a HARD TIME accepting EPHRAIM as his
brother. Therefore, the leadership of the MJAA and UMJC have in the
past characterized non-Jews who desire to observe Sabbath, Festivals
and obey Torah as "Jewish wannabees". In doing so, they are
fulfilling the prophecy that they would accuse non-Jews of , "SAYING
they are Jews but are of the synogogue of Satan". How is this so?

WHAT IS THE SYNOGOGUE OF SATAN?

NAMES are VERY IMPORTANT in Hebraic culture. Often in the
Bible, there is a play on the meaning of a word in Hebrew.

REUBEN MEANS "See a Son"

KJV Genesis 29:32 And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called
his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my
affliction; now therefore my husband will love me.

Reuben is the Strong's word (7205) which means "see a son".

Leah said that YHVH has looked (7200) which means "SEE" and I have
bore a SON.

JUDAH MEANS "Praiser of YHVH"

KJV Genesis 29:35 And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she
said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah;
and left bearing.

Judah is the Strong's word (3063) which means "praiser of YHVH".

Leas said that I will PRAISE YHVH. Therefore, she called her son,
Judah, or PRAISER OF YHVH.

YAHSHUA MEANS "salvation of YAH"

Jesus, the English word for the Hebrew Yahshua means, "salvation
of Yah".

KJV Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call
his name JESUS: for he shall SAVE his people from their sins.

Jesus was named in Hebrew YAHSHUA because He will SAVE His people
from their sins.

Paul used a PLAY on the meaning of the WORD JUDAH (Praiser of Yah)
in Romans 2:28-29.

KJV Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew (PRAISER OF YHVH), which is one
outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

KJV Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew (PRAISER OF YHVH), which is one inwardly; and
circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the
letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Quite simply, Paul was using a WORD play on the meaning of the
word JUDAH (PRAISER OF YHVH) in Hebrew to state that a TRUE PRAISER
of YHVH is someone who PRAISES YHVH from the HEART.

SATAN IN HEBREW MEANS AN 'ACCUSER / ADVERSARY"

SATAN in HEBREW means an "accuser / adversary". The IMAGERY is
someone on the LEFT who MAKES ACCUSATION against someone in a COURT
setting.

serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:
he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

KJV Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is
come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the
power of his Christ: for the ACCUSER of OUR BRETHREN is cast down,
which ACCUSED them before our God day and night [as in a judicial
court setting).

SATAN = ACCUSER OF THE BRETHREN

With the understanding of the IMPORTANCE of NAMES in Hebraic
thought and how in the Bible there is often a WORD play on the
meaning of a word in Hebrew and understanding that JUDAH means
"Praiser of YHVH" and Satan means "adversary / accuser [of the
brethren)", let us look at the Revelation verse which Blaine quoted.

Rev 2:9: I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art
rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and
are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."

A similiar verse is found in Revelation 3:9.

KJV Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan,
which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make
them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have
loved thee.

This verse is actually a WORD play on the meaning of the word JEW
and the meaning of the word SATAN.

KJV Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan
(ACCUSERS OF THE BRETHREN)

KJV Revlation 3:9 which say they are Jews (PRAISERS OF YHVH), and are not

When a MESSIANIC JEWS SAYS that He is a TRUE JEW (Praiser of YHVH)
but INSTEAD is an ACCUSER of HIS BROTHER (Joseph / Ephraim) for seeking to
obey Torah, you are NOT being a TRUE JEW (Praiser of YAH).

The PROPHECY says that those who makes this ACCUSATION (not a
TRUE JEW --- PRAISER OF YHVH) that YHVH will CAUSE them to

KJV Revelation 3:9 " I will make them to come and worship before thy
feet"

This is an ALLUSION to JUDAH and His BROTHERS who had to BOW down
before JOSEPH'S FEET.

KJV Genesis 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his
brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

KJV Genesis 37:7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field,
and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your
sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.

KJV Genesis 37:10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren:
and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that
thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come
to BOW DOWN ourselves to thee to the earth?

I have a Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible. In my Bible to the
phrase in Revelation 3:9:

KJV Revelation 3:9 " I will make them to come and worship before thy
feet"

i have a cross-reference to Isaiah 49:23.

KJV Isaiah 49:23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their
queens thy nursing mothers: they shall BOW DOWN to thee with their
FACE toward the EARTH, and LICK up the DUST of THY FEET; and thou
shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait
for me.

The verse which precedes this verse is:

KJV Isaiah 49:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine
hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they
shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried
upon their shoulders.

CHRISTIAN ZIONISTS often use this verse to explain how non-Jews are
prophecied in the Bible to help bring the Jews back to the land of
Israel from places like Russia.

These verses come at the end of Isaiah 49. Isaiah 49:6 speaks of
the restoration and regathering of Ephraim and Judah (both house of
Israel).

KJV Isaiah 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be
my servant to RAISE UP THE TRIBES OF JACOB, and to restore the
preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the
Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

AN ORTHODOX JEWISH VIEW OF ISAIAH 49

Yair Davidi is an Orthodox Jewish scholar on the restoration and reunification of
Judah and Ephraim in the end of days from a traditional Orthodox
Jewish viewpoint. He has a ministry based in Jerusalem (Brit-Am) which seeks to
make both Ephraim and Judah aware of who they are. The Brit-Am

ISAIAH AND THE RETURN OF THE LOST TEN TRIBES

The Lost Ten Tribes will also return. The Jews of Judah will meet the
return of the Lost Ten Tribes with mixed reactions:

QUESTION:

"THEN SHALT THOU SAY IN THY HEART, WHO HATH BEGOTTEN ME THESE,
SEEING I HAVE LOST MY CHILDREN, AND AM DESOLATE, A CAPTIVE, AND
REMOVING TO AND FRO? AND WHO HATH BROUGHT UP THESE? BEHOLD, I WAS LEFT
ALONE; THESE WHERE HAD THEY BEEN?" (ISAIAH 49;21)

In other words, the Jews will ask where were all those now identified
as Israel when the Jews needed help and were alone? According to the
Midrash (Pesikta Rabati 32;10) this reaction of the Jews will take
place WHEN THEY SEE THE THREE EXILES OF THE LOST TEN TRIBES RETURNING!

ISAIAH 49:9 AND THE PRISONERS OF HOPE

KJV Isaiah 49:9 That thou mayest say to the PRISONERS, Go forth; to
them that are in DARKNESS, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the
ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

In his book, "Ephraim" in chapter 4, Yair Davidi shares an
Orthodox Jewish commentary to Isaiah 49 indicating that the
"prisoners" are the Ten Lost Tribes.

Extracts from "Ephraim" chapter four:

"That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that
are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and
their pastures shall be in all high places" (Isaiah 49:9).

The Midrash (Numbers Rabah 1;6, Eichah Rabah 2;9, Jerusalemi Sanhedrin
ch.17, L.6,29) on these verses, comments:

Nachman said: To three places was Israel exiled, one to beyond the
Sambation River, one to Daphneh of Antiochia, and one to where the
Clouds came down and covered them; in the same way that they [i.e.the
northern Israelites west of the Jordan River] were exiled to three
places, so too were the Tribes [east of the Jordan River] of Reuben,
Gad, and halfMenasseh, exiled to three places. When they shall return
so too will Reuben, Gad, and halfMenasseh return with them. How do we
know all this? ~` From the verse, "Say to the prisoners go forth"
(Isaiah 49:9):

These are those exiled beyond the Sambation River.

"To them that are in darkness, shew yourselves" (Isaiah 49:9):
These are those whom the cloud descended upon and covered.

HEBREW LINK OF ISAIAH 49:23 TO REVELATION 3:9

The rabbis see Judah and his brothers bowing down to Joseph in the
book of Genesis as prophetic of the restoration and reunification of
Ephraim / Joseph and Judah in the end of days.

Isaiah 49:6 speaks of the role of the Messiah to restore and
regather both houses of Israel.

The rabbis link Isaiah 49:9 to the Ten Lost Tribes.

The rabbis link Isaiah 49:21 to the reaction of Judah when the
Ten Tribes are reunited with Judah.

Christian Zionists see the "Gentiles" in Isaiah 49:22 being
non-Jewish Christians helping the Jewish people to return to the
land of Israel in the end of days.

In Isaiah 49:23, the phrase "bow down to thee" in linked with
Joseph's brothers bowing down to him and to those in Revelation 3:9
are are NOT being TRUE JEWS (PRAISERS of YHVH) but are of the
synogogue of Satan (ACCUSERS OF THE BRETHREN) who YHVH will make to
"bow down at your feet" (Joseph).

The sum of the matter is that MESSIAH came to BREAK DOWN the
MIDDLE WALL of PARTITION between Jew and non-Jew so that we would
become ONE in Messiah.

KJV Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and
hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

KJV Ephesians 2:15 " .. for to make in himself of
twain one new man, so making peace"

We are ONE in Messiah when BOTH Jew and NON-JEW express their
love for Messiah by KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS (John 14:15)

In John 14:15, Messiah was making an ALLUSION to the commandments
given at Mount Sinai.

KJV Exodus 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of
the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

KJV Exodus 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that LOVE ME,
and KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.

K JV John 14:15 If ye LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.

What is ONCE AGAIN the conclusion of the matter?

ANYONE who is in COVENANT relationship with YHVH expresses that
COVENANT LOVE by KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS. This applies whether you
are Jewish or non-Jewish.

ONE TORAH FOR ALL ISRAEL (THOSE IN COVENANT RELATIONSHIP WITH
YHVH)

KJV Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of
man.

Let ALL believers in Messiah WALK as HE WALKED (keeping the
Torah of YHVH the Father).

KJV 1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to
walk, even as he walked.

Let us who name the name of Messiah NOT be "accusers of the
brethren" but let us be "praisers of YHVH".
