PROPHETIC THOUGHTS ON THE ATTACK OF THE USA

There are several goals of the Hebraic Heritage newsgroup. Among
them are:
#1) Embrace the Sabbath and Biblical Festivals
#2) Understand the Bible from a Hebraic perspective
#3) Love and support the Jewish people and the land of Israel
#4) Understand the restoration of both houses of Israel in the end of
days
One can gain greater prophetic insight into the recent terrorist
attack on the USA when we understand the Bible from a Hebraic mindset
and have a Hebraic viewpoint of end-time events.
Before I begin to share some of these insights, let it be known
that I LOVE the USA and I pray that the God of Israel bless America.
My heart ACHES and GRIEVES for those who lost their lives in this
tragedy and for all the families and lives (all of this) who are
affected by this terrorist attack. I applaud the rescue workers,
fireman, policeman etc who have acted heroically through this event.
I solute the spirit of Americans who have given blood, money, time
and talent to those who were directly involved in these attacks. The
way this country has united through this tragedy makes me proud to be
an American.
LEARNING THE THEMES OF THE FESTIVALS
I've written a book entitled, "The Seven Festivals of the
Messiah". Many people on this newsgroup have read this book. The
Biblical Festivals are important to study and understand because
through the THEMES of each of the Biblical Festivals we are able to
gain insight on the events surrounding the 1st and 2nd coming of the
Messiah (Yeshua HaMashiach).
During the day of the tragic terrorist attack on the USA on
September 11, 2001, we were in the "season of Teshuvah". The "season
of Teshuvah" begins on Elul 1 (the 6th month) and continues through
Tishrei (the 7th month) and the 10th day which is Yom Kippur.
Specifically, we were in the month of Elul.
According to Jewish tradition, each day during the month of Elul a
shofar is blown and Psalm 27 is read. One of the reasons for blowing
the shofar is to AWAKEN us out of our SPIRITUAL SLUMBER because we
will will be entering the "days of awe" (the period between Yom
Teruah / Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur). Psalm 27 is read to teach us
that during these upcoming "awesome days" that we are to put our
TOTAL TRUST in the God of Israel.
When the USA realized that they were being hit by a terrorist
attack on September 11, 2001, MANY people in the USA were SHOCKED
because MOST Americans thought that "this couldn't ever happen in the
USA". The terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon
in Washington, DC were simply UNTHINKABLE events. In essense, the USA
was in a state of SLUMBER. The terrorists attacks were in essense a
"WAKE UP CALL" to the USA. One of the reactions to these terrorists
attacks was to go to our churches / synagogues - places of worship -
to seek comfort from the God of Israel and to seek His face.
So this "WAKE UP CALL" to the USA during the month of Elul is a
THEME of this time of year through the blowing of the shofar.
For the mystics, the terrorist attack happened on September (9th
month) 11. September 11 = 9/11 or 911. 911 is the number that we call
in the USA for an EMERGENCY situation.
Keeping in mind that according to Jewish tradition, Psalm 27 is
read each day during the month of Elul, President Bush called Friday,
September 14 to be a national day of prayer and mourning. For those
of you who happened to watch the prayer service which the
President attended in Washington, DC, one of the scriipture readings
was PSALM 27. It was read by a Protestant Pastor.
So, Elul = Awaken from spiritual slumber from blowing the shofar
and reading Psalm 27 and the terrorist attack was a "wake up call" to
the USA, it was done on 9/11 = 911 = Emergency, and Psalm 27 was read
during the National prayer vigil which the President attended. Is
the God of Israel trying to communite a SPIRITUAL MESSAGE to His
people and also the world through these events? For the most part,
only those who know the themes of the Festivals and specifically the
themes of the fall festivals could one "glean insight" from these
recent terrorist events.
Furthermore, the national day of prayer was called by
President Bush to be on a FRIDAY. Because of this terrorist attack on
America, the country basically "shut down" including no sporting
events. In essence, through this event, the God of Israel FORCED the
ENTIRE COUNTRY to be in SHABBAT (suspend all worldly activities and
events) and be in your places of worship on FRIDAY.
Was this another PROPHETIC MESSAGE that the God of Israel was
giving to His people? As His people have been studying their Hebraic
roots, the God of Israel have been speaking to His people observe and
celebrate the Sabbath (BEGIN FRIDAY NIGHT Shabbat services).
THE PROPHETIC LIVES OF THE PATRIARCHS
The rabbis teach that the events in the lives of the Patriarchs
are PROPHETIC of events which will happen to their descendents and
events which will happen at the dawn of the Messianic Era and the
coming of King Messiah. A major theme in the events in the lives of
the Patriarchs at it pertains to the dawn of the Messianic Era is:
#1) The end of the exile
#2) Jacob meets Esau
#3) Jacob wrestles with God and prevails
Therefore, as we approach the dawn of the Messianic Era, we
should be WATCHING how events in the world might be linked to the end
of the exile (of BOTH houses of Israel) and how THIS EVENT (end of
the exile of BOTH houses of Israel) is linked with the end of days
struggle between the HOUSE OF JACOB = Ephraim / Joseph AND Judah and
the HOUSE OF ESAU.
Through the research done by such people as Orthodox Jew, Yair
Davidi (of which MANY of his insights have been posted over the past
year or two to this newsgroup), we understand that MOST of the house
of Israel (Ephraim / Joseph) are living in the WESTERN NATIONS and in
the ENDS OF THE EARTH. This would include Western Europe, the USA,
South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The house of Judah (Jewish
people) today have their own state called the nation of Israel.
As a result of these recent terrorist attacks, JUDAH (nation of
Israel) showed a HEART for Ephraim / Joseph (the USA and the Western
Nations) when Ariel Sharon called for a national day of prayer and mourning in the
land of Israel. Also, through the NATO alliance, Western Europe
expressed solidarity with the USA by invoking an article in the NATO
treaty which specifies that an attack on one country in the alliance
is the same as an attack on all countries.
Those who showed the GREATEST words of solidarity to fight the
world-wide war on terrorist were the Western nations. Basically, this
war has been introduced and being waged against RADICAL ISLAM which
is the house of Esau.
The MAIN ENEMY of these radical Islamic terrorists are the two house of
Israel (Western Nations and Judah / Israel).
KJV Ezekiel 35:3 And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O
MOUNT SEIR (Esau), I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand
against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
KJV Ezekiel 35:5 Because thou hast had a PERPETUAL HATRED, and hast
shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in
the time of their calamity, IN THE TIME that THEIR INIQUITY had AN
END: (END OF THE EXILE)
KJV Ezekiel 35:10 Because thou hast said, These TWO NATIONS and these
TWO COUNTRIES shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD
was there:
Therefore, in the NATURAL the Western nations / Israel (house of Jacob) are
uniting in an end-time battle against the house of Esau (Arab
countries and radical Islam) in the name of fighting terrorism.
Ishrmael is the brother of Isaac and Esau is the brother of Jacob.
Esau is called Mount Seir in the Bible. Mount Seir is prophecied in
the Bible to be in an end-time battle against Jacob (Ezekiel 35 /
36). The Bible tells us that this end-time battle will result in
"Jacob's trouble", the restoration of both houses of Israel, the end
of the Exile, the dawn of the Messianic Era and the coming of King
Messiah.
Regarding Ishmael it is written:
KJV Genesis 16:11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold,
thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name
Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.
KJV Genesis 16:12 And he will be a WILD MAN; his HAND will be AGAINST
EVERY MAN, and EVERY MAN'S HAND AGAINST HIM; and he shall dwell in the
presence of all his brethren.
A terrorist is a "wild man" and radical Islam is against all
those who aren't Islamic and the entire world is against him
(terrorism).
MANY of the Psalms are prayers in Jacob's struggle with Ishmael /
Esau in the end of days.
One of the terrorist organization which the nation of Israel is
fighting in their struggle with the PLO is named HAMAS. HAMAS is the
most radical element of the PLO.
In Pslam 140 it is written:
KJV Psalm 140:1 {To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.} Deliver me,
O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the VIOLENT MAN;
KJV Psalm 140:2 Which imagine MISCHIEFS IN THEIR HEART; continually are
they GATHERED TOGETHER FOR WAR.
The Hebrew word for VIOLENT is the Strong's number 2555 and is the
Hebrew word HAMAS.
The "violant man" and the "evil man" is the radical Islamic
terrorist.
In I Corinthians 15:46 is it written:
KJV 1 Corinthians 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual,
but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
Therefore, according to Biblical principle, BEFORE we see the
"spiritual reunion between Ephraim / Joseph and Judah", we MUST first
see a NATURAL ALLIANCE or UNION.
The September 11, 2001 terrorist attack set in motion events
which caused a NATURAL ALLIANCE between the Western nations / Israel
against radical Islam (house of Esau) in order to fight terrorism.
JACOB MEETS ESAU
In further elaborating how the events in the lives of the
Patriarchs are PROPHETIC of events in the end of days, let's look
into greater detail when Jacob met Esau.
After spending 20 years (prophetic of 2,000 years of time) with
Laban (Jacob being in exile in the nations), the God of Israel spoke
to Jacob to return to the land of Israel.
KJV Genesis 31:36 And Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob
answered and said to Laban, What is my trespass? what is my sin, that
thou hast so hotly pursued after me?
KJV Genesis 31:41 Thus have I been TWENTY YEARS in thy house; I served
thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy
cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times.
KJV Genesis 31:3 And the LORD said unto Jacob, RETURN unto THE LAND of
thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee.
JUDAH has been returning to the land of Israel for the most part of
the last 100 years. However, EPHRAIM / JOSEPH has NOT returned to the
land of Israel. In Genesis 31:3, the God of Israel told JACOB to
return to the land of Israel. Jacob = BOTH HOUSES of Israel. We
(Ephraim / Joseph) are in the DAYS OF PREPARATION for this event.
During the National prayer service attended by President Bush in
Washington DC on September 14, 2001, one of the readings by a
protestant pastor was the passage in Jeremiah of RACHEL "weeping for
her children". The firstborn son of Rachel is JOSEPH.
In the call to "awaken from our spiritual slumber", did the God of
Israel send a SPIRITUAL MESSAGE to His people (who have ears to hear)
at the national prayer service when the scripture was read from
Jeremiah 31 that Rachel was "weeping for her children"? In Jeremiah
31:15, 17 is it written:
KJV Jeremiah 31:15 Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah,
lamentation, and bitter weeping; RACHEL WEEPING for her children
REFUSED TO BE COMFORTED for her children, because they were not.
How does Rachel get comforted? When her children return to their
border.
KJV Jeremiah 31:16 Thus saith the LORD; REFRAIN thy voice FROM
WEEPING, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded,
saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
KJV Jeremiah 31:17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD,
that THY CHILDREN shall COME again to their OWN BORDER.
I have spent MUCH TIME on this newsgroup in the last year or
so trying to EDUCATE the members of this newsgroup that is VITAL to
understand the restoration of both houses of Israel in the end of
days. Recently, to encourage you in your studies, HHMI offered a
blowout special to study this issue from an Orthodox Jewish and
Hebraic / Messianic Israel point of view. If you did NOT understand
the restoration of both houses of Israel or have rejected this
vitally important Biblical truth, you would NEVER "glean" the
SPIRITUAL MESSAGE that the God of Israel was communicting to His
people as a SHOFAR / WAKE-UP CALL when the scripture from Jeremiah 31
that "Rachel was weeping for her children" was read by a Protestant
Pastor during the national prayer service attended by President Bush
in Washington, DC on Friday, September 14, 2001.
The CHALLENGE and (natural) CONTRADICTION that Jacob faced when
the God of Israel told him to return to the land of Israel after
spending 20 years with Jacob (Genesis 31:3) was that Jacob was
concerned about his "SECURITY" and it looked like "with natural eyes"
that going to the land of Israel to meet Esau was not a good idea.
This will be the SAME CONTRADICTION which Jacob (Ephraim /
Joseph AND Judah) will be facing in the end of days.
For those who don't study their Hebraic roots, don't study and
observe the Biblical Festivals, don't understand the restoration of
both houses of Israel in the end of days, they will REASON that
leaving the USA or any other Western nation to go to the land of
Israel (West Bank or Judea / Samaria) is LUNACY.
However, those who heed the words of Psalm 27 will put their
TOTAL TRUST in the PROMISE of the God of Israel that if Jacob
returned that he would be BLESSED and Jacob will prevail and be
blessed during and following this end-time struggle with the house
of Esau.
In these DAYS OF PREPARATION, the God of Israel is AWAKENING
the house of Judah and helping them to realize who Ephraim / Joseph
is and that they are brothers with a common heritage!
When Jacob met Esau, he was divided into TWO CAMPS (prophetic of
the division of the two houses of Israel in the end of days).
KJV Genesis 32:7 Then JACOB was greatly AFRAID and distressed: and he
divided the people that was with him, and the flocks, and herds, and
the camels, into TWO BANDS ;
The return of Jacob to the land of Israel is associated with
"Jacob's trouble".
In Genesis 32, Jacob "wrestled" with the God of Israel and
PREVAILED.
KJV Genesis 32:24 And JACOB was left alone; and there WRESTLED a man
with him until the breaking of the day.
In the "wrestling", Jacob prevailed.
KJV Genesis 32:26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he
said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
KJV Genesis 32:27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said,
Jacob.
KJV Genesis 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob,
but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and
hast PREVAILED.
This is prophetic of "Jacob's trouble" when Jacob will also prevail.
KJV Jeremiah 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it:
it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of
it.
When will THIS MESSAGE be understood by Jacob? It will be in the
"latter days".
KJV Jeremiah 30:24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until
he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart:
in the LATTER DAYS ye shall CONSIDER IT.
The purpose of this article explaining the "prophetic insight" of the
most recent terrorist attack is for you to "CONSIDER IT".
THE USA IN PROPHECY
There are many who believe that the USA is the LAND of Babylon
and "end of days" nation in Jeremiah 50 / 51 and Revelation 18.
A MAJOR CONCEPT in understanding Bible prophecy from a
"Hebraic perspective" is the concept of "HERE NOW BUT NOT YET".
In other words, Biblical prophecy is FIRST fulfilled "in part" (here
now) but not in its fullness (not yet).
For example, the after the exodus from Egypt the nation of
Israel went into the promised land of Canaan as was promised to
Abraham in Genesis 17. However, the nation of Israel NEVER occupied
the ENTIRE land of Canaan let alone the promise from the "Nile to the
Euphrates" in Genesis 15. The promise of inheriting the land of
fulfilled "in part" (here now) but not in it's fullness (not yet).
Many of the events which were prophecied by the prophets of
Israel were fulfilled "in part" (here now) IN THEIR DAY but not in
it's fullness (not yet). The FULLNESS of these prophecies are to be
fulfilled at the coming of the Messiah.
THE PARTIAL FALL OF THE USA
The terrorist attack on the USA on September 11, 2001 was a
"here now" (fulfilled in part) fulfillment of Revelation 18 but "not
yet" (NOT the FULLNESS of the prophecy). MOST of Revelation 18 is
just a REPEAT of the words of the prophets regarding the fall of
Babylon in Jeremiah and Ezekiel.
KJV Revelation 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived
deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for SHE SAITH in her
heart, I SIT a QUEEN, and am NO WIDOW, and shall see no sorrow.
The THOUGHT by MANY AMERICANS regarding this terrorist attack
was that this could NEVER happen in America because we "sit as a
queen" (believe in Jesus / Yeshua as Messiah) in the eyes of the God of Israel.
KJV Revelation 18:8 Therefore shall her PLAGUES come in ONE DAY, death,
and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly BURNED WITH FIRE:
for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
KJV Revelation 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment,
saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in
ONE HOUR is thy judgment come.
The terrorist hijackings and attacks happened basically in ONE
HOUR.
One of the attacks came upon lower Manhatten, New York City
considered to be the FINANCIAL CAPITAL of the world. When the nations
of the world saw the SMOKE of this attack upon the FINANCIAL CAPITAL
of the world, they were STUNNED.
KJV Revelation 18:9 And the KINGS of the EARTH, who have committed
fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and
lament for her, when they shall see the SMOKE of HER BURNING,
The FULLNESS of the prophecy of Revelation 18 is the TOTAL
DESTRUCTION of the LAND of Babylon.
When the LAND of Babylon is attacked, the God of Israel spoke
that those who follow Him and hear His voice will allow "Jerusalem to
come into our mind and remembrance".
KJV Jeremiah 51:50 Ye that have ESCAPED THE SWORD, go away, stand not
still: remember the LORD afar off, and LET JERUSALEM COME INTO YOUR
MIND.
The Jacob / Esau struggle and the fall of Babylon in the
fullness of time results in the restoration / reunification of both
houses of Israel.
KJV Jeremiah 50:1 The word that the LORD spake AGAINST BABYLON and
against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet.
KJV Jeremiah 50:4 In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the
children of ISRAEL shall come, they AND the children of JUDAH
together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their
God.
KJV Jeremiah 50:5 They shall ASK THE WAY TO ZION with their faces
thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a
perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.
KJV Jeremiah 30:3 For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will
bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the
LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their
fathers, and they shall possess it.
KJV Jeremiah 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like
it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out
of it.
KJV Jeremiah 30:24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until
he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart:
in the latter days ye shall consider it.
I pray that this article and analysis on "prophetic
thoughts on the attack on the USA" will encourage you to continue
