Subject: Feast of Tabernacles
"The Feast of Tabernacles", a week-long gathering of Christian worship and
praise will be held locally at the Mendocino Woodlands Camp in Mendocino Ca,
beginning the evening of October 2, and ending October 10.
Leviticus 23 outlines the feast days of the bible, and the feast of
Tabernacles is the last, and biggest celebration of the year. The last day
of this feast was the day Jesus cried out saying, "If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has
said, streams of living water will flow from within him." (John 7:37-38 NIV)
Attendees come from various Christian fellowships around the country to
obey the biblical command to "rejoice before the Lord for 7 days."
Besides praise and worship, which will include "Davidic" or Hebrew dancing,
there will be daily bible presentations and bible studies with plenty of
audience participation and opportunity to question and discuss the material
presented.
The cost for those who wish to attend on site for the entire time is $425
per adult including rustic cabin housing and meals. For those who wish to
visit for the day, the camp charges $35 per person.
"Living the Way" publications headquartered in Placerville, CA is sponsoring
