Subject: 2001 Feast of Tabernacles Info
Dear Mishpochah (family):
I have had the great joy of observing the Feast of Tabernacles
(Tabernacles is called 'The Season of Our Joy') the last four years
in Ocean Shores, WA sponsored by CRMI (Christian Renewal Ministries
Int'l).
This year (2001) CRMI will NOT be holding a feast of Tabernacles
celebration at Ocean Shores, WA. Instead, they have moved their
celebration to JERUSALEM. More detailed info is given at the end of
this article.
This year, I will be celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles at two
places. The first place will be with Lion and Lamb Ministries
(http://www.lionlamb.net)
in Chandler, Oklahama. For more information about this feast,
please go to the Lion and Lamb website.
The second place will be in Hawkins, Texas with Isaiah 61
ministries. Isaiah 61 ministries will have to send me a note about
this celebration so that I can post further detailed information
about this event to our newsgroup members.
Believe it or not, the Feast of Tabernacles is only 2 months away
and NOW is the time to plan and prepare to attend a feast of
Tabernacles celebration.
In order to encourage as many people as possible to attend a
Feast of Tabernacles celebration this year, I will like for ALL
newsgroup members who are hosting a Feast of Tabernacles celebration
this year to send a reply e-mail to the newsgroup address at:
(heb_roots_chr@hebroots.org) and I will post the info about your
celebration.
When you do so, please specify an outline of your events, schedule
for each day, location of your event, directions to your event and if
there is any registration fee. Also, don't forget any contact info or
a website address where further info can be obtained.
I need to post this info as soon as possible so that our newsgroup
members have time to plan and prepare to attend a 2001 Feast of
Taberancles celebration.
Listed below are several 2001 Feast of Tabernacle celebrations
which have already been posted to the newsgroup.
May you have a blessed Sukkot (Tabernacles) festival season this
year,
Eddie Chumney

Subject: Sukkot Weekend
Shalom Eddie,
I just wanted to share this information with you and anyone else
interested.
We are setting up in Neillsville, Wisconsin a "Christian Hebraic
Hertitage Learning Center".
Our main purpose is to learn Torah from a Hebraic perspective with a
weekly Torah study, Shabbat worship and Fellowship, and to
"re-disciple" Christains that have been taught the gospel from a
Greek/Roman/Western perspective.
On October 5-7, 2001 we will be having a Sukkot Family weekend.
It will be at Arrowhead Bible Camp - a beautiful facility, in New
Aurburn, Wisconsin.
There will be activities for the whole family - adult and children
workshops
Dr. John Garr from the Restoration Foundation will be our guest speaker.
Anyone interested in attending may contact me: Kim Marsch
via email - chhlc@yahoo.com or call me at 715-743-6949.
We have limited space so please, if you are interested make reservations
a soon as you can.

Subject: Sukkot in Jerusalem
Shalom!
CRMI regrettably will not be hosting a Feast of Tabernacles in Ocean
Shores, Washington, as we have done for the last five years. However,
our plans for the feast in Jerusalem are going well. If you are
planning to join us this year in Jerusalem, visit our website at
http://www.Shalom-CRMI.org today! I anticipate a small group of
about 50 people.
Our current count (as of 8/01/01) is about 25. We will NOT
cancel the feast in Jerusalem. The ONLY reason we will not be there
is if we are forbidden to go (by the government) because of war.
There should be plenty going on while we are there. Note the
following two posts.
"At the end of every seven years, at the appointed time in the year of
release, at the Feast of Tabernacles Gather the people together, men
and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates,
that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the LORD your God
and carefully observe all the words of this law," Deuteronomy 31:10a,
12
Experience Scripture in the Land of Israel! In October 2001, this
year Israel will celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles that concludes the
seven-year agricultural cycle. On the evening of the third day of the Feast
(October 4th), the Jewish people will gather at the Western Wall in
Jerusalem's Old City. Hundreds of thousands of people will stand
together as the President of Israel reads from Scripture and implores
the faithful to return to God.
2-9 October 2001 - Sukkoth - We hope to lay the cornerstone for the
Third Temple on Tisha B'Av but if the circumstances do not permit this
we will lay it during this feast. The exact date will be provided
later. We will march to the Temple Mount and then to the City of
David. There will be the ceremony of Nisuach HaMai'im in which water
is drawn from the Pool of Siloam and poured over the altar. Then we
will have the anointing of the cornerstone with prayers for rain and a
blessed year for Israel and all the world. We will then have prayers
with the lulavs and etrogs on the Temple Mount. All of this as it was
in Temple times.
If God is drawing you to attend the feast in Jerusalem this year, ACT
NOW! Trust God, He will make a way.

Subject: SUKKOT FEAST OF TABERNACLES NW/2001
SHALOM:
I am happy to tell you that arrangements for the event SUKKOT FEAST
OF TABERNACLES NW 2001 are underway- campground is being readied,
contract negotiated for the best possible rates, food needs being
assessed, staffing being thought out, speakers being contacted, and
airline schedules checked, and all we need is......YOU!
Previously, we were participants, co-planners/organizers, speakers
and singers/musicians for FTOS (last 3 years).
FTOS is not being held this year, Rick and Susan are going to go to
Jerusalem instead and are organizing an event for there right now.
At the last regional leadership meeting Rick strongly agreed that
another event here should take up where FTOS left/leaves off, and a number of
us agreed. Therefore, you will see many of the familiar faces involved
and there, as well as a slew of new friends you haven't yet met!
Because of the change of location from our last 3 Sukkot
involvements(due to a high risk pregnancy, due late Oct.) we have
arranged a campground very close to all points in the NW, because
it's accessible from SeaTac airport, by highway or by boat!
This should make it even easier to come for the week or just come
to the site for specific speakers or teachigns, as well as special events for
fellowship.
And for you weary travelers....NO 3.5 hour drive to the coast.
Weather is considerably better in the Puget Sound area in October
than out on the Coast too.
Vashon Island, just 30 minutes by car from Seattle(need to take
ferry, 10 min. more), 15 minutes by ferry boat direct out of Seattle; 10 minutes
by ferry from Tacoma(off Rte. 16N); 15 minutes by ferry from
Southworth(Port Orchard).
Oct. 1-8. Set you calendars!
Because we have gone to a different venue, the costing structure is
different this year. We are considering a NOMINAL registration fee to
cover the rental of the common facilities- meeting rooms for classes,
main hall for events, etc., which will also be used to bring in very
noteworthy speakers.($25 p.p., maximum FAMILY registration of $75. So,
dad and mom at $25 ea= $50,1 more kid,under 11, another $75, all the
other kids in the family go free. NO FAMILY can pay more that $75 for
the full week!)
For walk-ins on a daily basis or by speaker or class, we will have a
small registration fee for that as well.
There are cabins for rent, rooms in bunkhouse quarters, regular
bedroom-type accomodations as well, and we will be able to gibe you
the discounted price by early next week. For RVers, we have 14 acres
nearby to park(for a token donation) or, at the campground facility(a
bit more on the $$ at a nightly charge).
You can bring your own food or purchase a meal-ticket for 3 squares
a day, all Biblically-Kosher, CLEAN.
Activities for youth and kids, Circle Dancing, Music, sports events,
many surprise activities, and much much more.
LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT SUKKOT FEAST OF
TABERNACLES NW 2001!
May Adonai bless you, your family, your home and the work of your
hands....
Steven

Shalom!
My name is Patty and I have a question about Tabernacles! My husband
and I live in Boone NC, and I was wondering if you knew of any
congregation that might be doing Sukkot this year near our state?
Like Virginia, Tenn. etc... Thank you for your time, maybe you can
let me know or connect me with someone! Many blessings to you and
your family! Hope to hear from you!
