Subject: Messianic Cards

Dear Eddie:

I don't know if you are interested in passing the attached information along
to your newsgroup members. If you don't feel you can, that is fine. If you
can, it would be very helpful. This is not a commercial venture sponsored
by the company I work for, but an effort to fill a need in the Messianic
community.

-----------------------------------

Over the past several years many followers of Hebraic Roots teaching have
asked where they can find greeting cards to send for Pesach, Sukkot,
Chanukkah, and other festivals or celebrations. Christian bookstores
certainly don't stock them, and usually the Jewish cards do not quite fit
the bill either.

A few months ago YHVH placed me in an unusual position. I became one of
five designers of new cards for the largest Christian greeting card company
in America. Many of my friends said to me, "Finally, maybe you can do
something about Messianic greeting cards." I wasn't sure as a new employee
whether I could or not.

As it turns out, I believe that I can have some impact in that area, but I
must have my facts together to present to the deciders. Only a handful of
people make the decisions for new lines. If I can document that there is a
need that is not being filled and that people will buy Messianic cards, I
think we have an opportunity to get them developed. There needs to be a
minimum of 5,000 cards sold to justify a new line. I have no idea how many
Messianic believers there are who will purchase cards.

What I need is for Messianic believers to respond to a simple survey and
send it to me, so I can compile the responses and present them to our
Marketing Department. If there is sufficient interest for me to make a
presentation, I will then solicit freelance artists and copy writers from
the Messianic community to make samples of cards to accompany my market
research. The writers and artists where I work do not understand the
Messianic worldview and could not, in my opinion, make an appropriate card.

I believe this is not only a way to fill a need we in the Messianic
community have, but will also make the public more aware of the Hebraic
Roots movement.

If you can help me to get the word out, I would appreciate it very much.
