Eddie,

Below is a message for an event God is miraculously putting together in
Hardeeville, SC about 8 miles north of Savannah , GA which has the
nation's oldest Jewish community.  Could you send it out ASAP (we need

to be in Florida in December?  The event is exit 5 in SC (5 miles north
of the GA border).  I can make Orlando in 4 hours max and I'm 75 minutes
from the site - so 5 hours from Orlando.  Check out the details on my
site under "Latest call for shofar blowers".

Thanks,  Dom

To all those who might be interested there will a Feast of
Dedication in Hardeeville, SC December 21-24.  The event will feature
many speakers including (among others) Angus & Batya Wootten and MIA

of praise and worship.  Information can be found at

Subject: Lost Sheep Looking for Fellowship

Shalom Eddie:

I just wanted to let you know that I had posted my name on your Lost
Sheep, Looking For Fellowship site a couple of months ago.  I have
been looking for other Messianic Believers in my area since I first
started studying our Hebraic Roots, about a year ago.  I had searched
every directory I could find, to no avail.  Yet I was certain that
there had to be others around me and that I just had to find them.
Finally last week, I was e-mailed by a lady in Texas who saw my note
on your site.  She told me about a couple that lives within 15 miles
of me, who have been following this for several years. Before I could
contact them, they sent me an e-mail.  They had also found my note on
your site.  I fellowshipped with them and some others for the Sabbath.
It is so good to be able to share with other believers.

Coincidence?  I don't think so, but an answer to prayer, yes!  Thank
you for being there.  I go to your site as often as I can.  I'm on
your e-mail list and enjoy reading the teachings you send out.  If
only I had more time, there is so much there.

Blessings, in the name of our Messiah.

Dan Shepard

I too am interested in a study group near me. I just recently heard of
a messianic group that meets in Grand Rapids Michigan. I am asking for
details, but am not sure they teach the "Two houses". I live in

Hi,

My name is Rose Scalise.  Beth Y'shua (House of Jesus), our Messianic
Synagogue, meets at 6601 Standifer Gap Road (between Hickory Valley
Road and Shallowford Road) in Chattanooga.  It is accessible from
either Route 153 (taking the Shallowford exit) or I 75 (taking the
Shallowford exit at Hamilton Place Mall).  We regularly meet for Erev
Shabbat service on Friday night at 7 PM.  We also have a praise and
worship dance instruction which meets on most Sunday afternoons. We
are a Messianic Judaism so most if not all activities are approached
from a "Hebrew Perspective."  We have taken the best of (biblical
Judaism) and the best of Christianity and practice Messianic Judaism.
We prefer to be associated with Messianic terminology, hence calling
ourselves Messianics, believers, or followers of Y'shua as opposed to
"Christians."  We want to be like Messiah even to His worship style
while on earth. My work number should appear below.  My home number is
423-875-9757.

Shalom, Shalom, RoseS

Dear Eddie,

This comes at such an incredible time. These are so encouraging to us.
My wife and I feel led to begin a hebraic study group. The Lord has
miraculously given us over $1000.oo to begin an account for this New
fellowship.

We invited a couple and their Five children over for a Shabbat dinner.
They loved it. They have expressed interest in beginning a fellowship
with us.

If anyone in the Woodridge, Bolingbrook, Downers Grove Chicago land
area is interested in being a part of this new fellowship they can
contact Sharon (My wife) or John Smith (Myself) at
"jsmith-1@mediaone.net

We have a full course developed around the Feast of the Lord of Lev.
23 as well as the Ancient Jewish Wedding. We will  also be using first
Fruits of Zion's Hayosod Program in the future.

Could you also fit this in somewhere on your Hebrew Roots Mailing?

Thank you, and Shalom in Yeshua Messiah!

I have been praying about starting a study group in the Prairieville
Louisiana, suburb of Baton Rouge Louisiana. I have taught on this
wonderful subject in church and also home bible studies and everyone
is  blessed at understanding Jewish customs and our roots.

We have just moved back to this area 8 months ago . I go to a very
large church. I am praying that God will open a door there to teach. I
have been to the land of Israel 9 times hosting small prayer groups.
Just  returned on the 6th of November.

Please be in agreement with me about the timing and whether I should
begin with a home bible study. I would really like to know if there is
any one interested in my area. Please feel free to email me if you live
in this area . When I lived in Iowa we started with 2 people, in the
day meeting and it grew to an average of 15. God really blessed us.

Please feel free to email me if you lie in Louisiana, (Baton Rouge,
Prairieville, Gonzales )

The nearest city to them is Springfield, Missouri which is still a 2 hour

Shalom Eddie,

Thank you for obedience to our Father's works.
I would like to suggest that you do your "Lost Sheep"
notices at least once a month or put in your web site "Gatherings of
His People".  We have found that most of our people (13) come from
such informational sites.  We have had more at our shul but, we are
not the only "ball game in town."  Springfield-Eugene area is fairly
small compared to Portland and other areas.  There are three Jewish
congregations, one Orthodox Messianic Congregation, one Hebrew Roots
organization, one Hebraic Dance Group, and then there is us.  We at
Beth Echad have been in existence four about eight years.  Our Rabbi
Galen Wienberg moved to another town about a year ago and released the
congregation to myself.  I was consecrated by our Rabbi in Israel in
March of this year.  We have struggled through much persuasion of
different directions.  Mostly "church" orientated.  I stood my ground
in the fact that HaShem said "No, we are not a church!"  Through much
investigation and searching, I located web sites such as yours to
guide us in the way we should go.  Since our taking over Beth Echad we
began Hebrew Classes, Dance Classes, HaYesod Classes, and Hebraic
Roots Classes.  We meet in a Baptist Church,  mainly because the rent
is the right price for now.  We are limited to the availability of
space and ask that you and your prayer partners would intercede for us
to receive our own place.  Also we are praying for a Torah Scroll.
When Barbara Richmond was here, Mike encouraged me that these are two
of the we must keep our eyes on the Lord to provide for us.  We can
meet only on Friday evenings at 7:00pm and there is a lot of
uneasiness in the "church atmosphere"  because we worship in dance and
have Oneg instead of communion.  We hang our Hebraic banners in their
sacred sanctuary and replace their Christian flag with Israeli flag.
After service we put everything back in order so as not to disturb
their theology of New Testament teachings.  If you hear of anyone
seeking a place to come and be fed, tell them to call Rabbi Chuck at
1-541-726-7888. Also I would like to through this at you for thought.
Gov. William Bradford was adopted into the Bradford family at a very
young age.  We were looking for my genealogy back ground in England
and this is what we found.  Also him and several others were "run out
" of England for their beliefs (Jewish?) They went to Holland (large
Jewish population).  Came to the new world with large groups of other
Jewish peoples.  Not on the same boat though.  William as a student of
Hebrew.  He wrote and taught Hebrew to the "church" at Plymouth.  He
wore a kippah according to many drawings that we can find.  He
celebrated the feasts of God.  Ask any Jewish American historian and
they will say that Thanksgiving is the celebration of Feast of Sukkot.
Several of his grand children down the line married Jewish women.
One such woman was Mary Hinman.  From the day I can remember I have
had a Jewish heart.  At one time in my childhood I attended Synagogue
in Portland, OR.  My parents removed me from there in hurry saying
that we could be recognized with them. Puzzled  me for a long time,
until I became involved with the Messianic side of church. Thank you
for reading this far.

PS Thoroughly  enjoyed your books, they are now in our congregational
library for all to read.
