Subject: Two Different Trips to Israel
Dear Mishpochah (family):
You now have the OPPORTUNITY to choose from TWO different trips
to Israel. Yes, the Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to be
associated with TWO DIFFERENT tours to Israel.
JANUARY 29 - FEBRUARY 7, 2001 TRIP TO ISRAEL
The first I've mentioned the past several months through the HHMI
updates. I will be going with the Pastor in NY to Israel from
January 29 - February 7, 2001. We expect to have about 75-100 people
on this trip to Israel. The Pastor in NY has asked me to tell the
newsgroup members about this trip and he has invited you to come along
with us. Several newsgroup members in response to previous notes
about this January 29 - February 7 trip have already signed up to go
with us. Several other newsgroup members have indicated an interest in
going but are in the process of trying to make arrangements to do so.
I would suggest this trip for those who have NEVER been to
Israel. Like the saying goes, there is NOTHING like the FIRST time.
Going to Israel is an experience that you will NEVER forget. The cost
for this trip in only $1849 from NY per person. This price includes
roundtrip airfare to Israel from NY, 6 days sightseeing and 8 nights
hotel, Breakfast and Dinner daily and all taxes and services in Israel. It
does NOT include gratuities to your driver and guide, lunch, cost to
obtain a passport, drinks, laundry or other items of a personal
nature (gifts).
Among the places where you will visit are:
Jaffa, Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, Galilee, Capernaum, Mt. of Beatitudes,
Golan, Megiddo, Beit Shean, Jericho, Jerusalem, Qumeran, Dead Sea,
Masada, Mt of Olives, Gethsemane, Yad Vashem, Rabbi's Tunnel, Old
City of Jerusalem, the Upper Room, Calvary, Emmaus and Tel Aviv.
If you would like to go on this trip, please send a $100 deposit
per person payable to HolyLand Workshops and send to:
Hebraic Heritage Ministries Int'l
PO Box 81
Strasburg, Ohio 44680
and I will be sure to put your name on the list to go to Israel as
I go to NY each week to teach a class on the Biblical Festivals on
Tuesday nights. When you send you check, please include the name (s)
of the people who will be going, your address and phone number. This
will probably be the last time that I will make an announcement to
the newsgroup about this trip to Israel as space is being filled up
and several newsgroup members have already signed up to go with us.
FEBRUARY 14 - FEBRUARY 25, 2001 TRIP TO ISRAEL
If you have been to Israel (I've been to Israel twice ...
once in 1989 and the second time in 1992) OR if you want to
experience and VERY UNIQUE and PROPHETIC trip to Israel, I would
HIGHLY recommend that you consider going to Israel on this February
14 - February 25, 2001 trip.
Why is this trip to Israel so UNIQUE? This trip to Israel is
specifically designed to visit Biblical places located in the West
Bank and visit and meet the leaders of the West Bank settlements
including the mayor of the West Bank town of Ariel. Furthermore,
there will be a SPECIAL conference for individuals on this trip to
meet with Orthodox Jewish rabbis and leaders in Israel who will be
discussing the Orthodox Jewish perspective of the end of days
reunification between Ephraim and Judah. While several of the
Orthodox Jewish rabbis who will be meeting with the tour group have
expressed a desire for their names to not be mentioned publically,
one Orthodox Jewish leader (Yair Davidy) has given his permission to
let us know that he will be speaking with the tour group.
This tour is designed so that Orthodox Jews (the
house of
Judah) can meet Ephraimites so that they can begin to discuss and
dialogue how they can begin to work together to be reunified with
each other. For this reason, the tour group will be visiting West
Bank settlements and meeting leaders within the West Bank communities
as well as with Orthodox Jewish rabbis who are sympathetic to the
reunification of Ephraim and Judah in our days.
Among the places which we will be visiting in the West Bank are:
Tzfat (one of the four holy cities for modern Judaism), Har Meron
(where the tombs of Hillel, Shammai and Rabbi Shimeon ben Yahai are
located), Dubrovin farm museum (depicts the 1904 settlement of
non-Jewish believers in Messiah from Russia who kept the Sabbath),
Tel Dan, the waterfalls of Banias, Tiberias, Capernaum, Bethsaida
(one of the centers of Jesus' ministry), Kursi (where Jesus cast out
demons into the herd of swine), Shechem (where Abraham built altars
to God and the place where Joshua gathered the tribes of Israel to
make a covenant between them and God), Joseph's Tomb (where it is
believed that the bones of Joseph were brought from Egypt to the
promised land), Jacob's Well (where Jesus shared His message with the
Samarian women), Ariel (former capital of the Kingdom of Israel),
various Jewish settlements in the West Bank, Elon Moreh (where
Abraham entered the land), Mount of Blessing, Sebaste (where the
remnants of the walls of the kings of Israel, along with ivory pieces
that decorated King Ahab's ivory house), Mt Gerizim to visit Joshua's
altar, Bethel (where God revealed Himself to Jacob in a dream),
Ma'ale Mikmash (the site of one of David and Jonathan's victories),
Shiloh (where the Ark of the covenant was kept for 200 years) where
we will also see a replica of the ancient Tabernacle, Temple
Institute in Jerusalem, OPTIONAL Christian Zionist conference, Hebron
(center of David's Kingdom before moving to Jerusalem), visit the
burial place of Abraham, Sara, Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob and Leah, Kiriat
Arba settlement, Tekoa settlement, Yad VaShem Holocaust Memorial,
Neot Kedumim Biblical gardens, Mt of Olives, Valley of Jehosaphat,
Temple Mount and the Garden Tomb.
In short, the purpose of this tour is to "spy out the land"
and
THIS TIME, we WILL come back with a "GOOD REPORT". While there are
still "giants" in the land, our God is WELL-ABLE to "take the land".
This is a time and trip for Ephraim's heart to begin to knit with
those of Judah in the land and those of Judah in the land to begin to
knit with Ephraim.
I would like to share with you a testimony of another newsgroup
member who visited the West Bank settlements and met with Orthodox
Jewish leaders being represented as Ephraimites.

Dear Eddie,
This was an excellent teaching on the One Shepherd/One Sheepfold!
I just wanted to share with you an experience we had on the mountains
of Judea and Samaria and how the Orthodox Jews welcomed us.
We were visiting a friend in Israel November of 1999 and he
took us to two Orthodox Jewish settlements. One of the settlements was
Itamar the mountain right across from HaBaracha (Mt. of Blessing). The
family we visited with invited us into their home and there we were
asked to have latkes and juice. During the course of our conversation
they had a phone call and Moshe the gentleman of the household told
the person on the phone that they had Ephraimites visiting. I was so
shocked that Orthodox Jews would welcome us as that. The wife (Leah)
proceed to tells us that it wasn't by accident that we were here this
week because the Torah portion was on how Joseph had to return to the
land. After having a brief time together we blessed them with
offerings and cloths that we had brought with us to give to whom ever
the Holy Spirit lead us to. As we were on our way out Leah with tears
in her eyes hugged me and said come and live with us here on the land.
I can't tell you how touched I was. I can still see her tears.
Needless to say I want to immediately pack my bags. They were told
before we came that we were believers in Yeshua but also studiers of
the Torah. Moshe was very interested in our interest in the Torah. I
believe that the Torah will be one of the most important things
besides Messiah that unites us with Judah.
The other Orthodox community was HaBaracha and a young man by the name
of Near also asked us to come and live with them on the mountains of
Israel. So brother your right on in this teaching. We can't wait
around for Messianic Judaism to accept us. The Mountains of Israel are
pleading with us to return. May we all (Shema) hear the voice of the
Shepard to return.
Keep up the good work.
Shalom ooVaracha,
Lori Dryer

Just by speaking with my PERSONAL friends, there is about 10-20
people interested in going on this trip to Israel. I have been asked
to co-host and teach about the restoration of both houses of Israel
on this trip. I have conducted preliminary discussions (on Friday)
with a Messianic Jewish believer who believes in the restoration of
both houses of Israel to do some teaching with me on this trip. He
teaches about 700 students each week the Torah and our Hebraic
heritage in the state of Colorado. If things work out, he will be
teaching with me on this tour.
The cost of this tour is $1962 from NY, $2046 from Miami and
Chicago and $2142 from Los Angeles.
If you are interested in attending this SPECIAL and UNIQUE tour to
Israel, please send me a reply e-mail at: (chumney@hebroots.org).
