Dear Mishpochah (family):
As I reported in the last HHMI update, the Pastor in NY asked me
to do a 13 week teaching class on the Biblical Festivals of Lev 23.
This class is REQUIRED for all the church leadership. As a part of
their ministry training, the church leadership is required to take 20
classes. This Festivals class will become one of those REQUIRED
classes. These classes will also be available to the public. Classes
will begin on Tuesday, September 12 from 7:00PM - 9:00PM. Several
newsgroup members asked about making audio or video tapes of these
Festival classes for their benefit. Therefore, we plan on
making both audio and video tapes of these classes for the benefit of
those who cannot make the classes in Freeport, NY. If there
are newsgroup members in the area who would be able to attend the

These teachings and these classes are just the BEGINNING of what
will be taught and learned regarding understanding and embracing the
Hebraic roots of Christianity in this church and ultimately in other
churches in the Brooklyn / Long Island area of NY.
A CHURCH IS PLANTED IN HARLEM, NY
From August 14 - August 23, the Pastor and the church in Freeport
conducted street evangelism and set up a tent and distributed food as
part of an outreach to the people in Harlem. With the blessing from
the Lord, the intent of this outreach was for enough people to be
brought to the Lord that a new church could be started in Harlem.
When the Pastor and the church went to Harlem and set up their tent
for this evangelistic outreach, he DESIRED to plant a church and have
a church building but he did NOT have a place when the outreach was
started.
From August 14 - August 20, over 200 people in Harlem
accepted Yeshua / Jesus as Messiah and nearly 70 people expressed an
interest in becoming members of the new church. The LORD was faithful
not only to pour out His Holy Spirit and save over 200 people in
Harlem but somebody in Harlem contacted the Pastor during the week of
August 14 and told him that he had facilities (nice facilities) which he would
make available to start the church. The agreement was made and the
first church service was held on August 20. I spent two nights in
Harlem helping to conduct street evangelism and helped to distribute
FREE food to those who attended the tent meetings on August 17-18. I
was blessed to be able to participate in this outreach to the people
in Harlem.
TRIP
TO ISRAEL
As also mentioned in previous HHMI updates, the church in NY is
sponsoring a trip to Israel from January 29 -February 7, 2001 and I
will be going with them. Our newsgroup members are invited to come.
The cost is only $1849.
After talking to the Pastor, I learned that there will be TWO
SEPARATE groups on this trip. One group will be for those who have
never been to Israel. They will visit some of the "traditional" sites
such as:
Caesara. Mount Carmel, Galilee, Capernaum, Mount of
Beatitudes,
Golan, Megiddo, Beit Shean, Jericho, Jerusalem, Qumeran, Dead Sea,
Masada, Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Yad Vashem, Rabbi's Tunnel, Old
City, Upper Room, Emmaus, Tel Aviv among other places.
HOWEVER, some people like the Pastor and myself in addition
to
others have already been to Israel and DON'T want to visit the
"traditional" sites a second time. So, for those who have already
been to Israel, a separate tour is being arranged so that we can see
NEW things.
So, there will be something for everybody on this trip to
Israel. If you have a desire to travel to Israel with us, you NEED to
send in an initial $100 deposit ASAP.
The $100 deposit is required to secure your reservation. Final
payment is required 45 days prior to departure. If you would like to

EDDIE SPEAKING AT AMI 2000 IN ORLANDO
I will be speaking at the AMI 2000 Messianic Israelite
conference in Orlando, Florida over Labor Day weekend (Sept 1-4).
Please keep this event in your prayers as Torah loving members from
the house of Israel AND the house of Judah will be gathering to
proclaim the message of the future restoration of both houses of
Israel (Ezekiel 37:15-28) and the embracing of the Sabbath and the
Biblical Festivals.
