Subject: Trip to Israel / HHMI Update
Dear Mishpochah (family):
As you know, there has not been any newsgroup the past several
weeks. The main reason for this was that I have been trying to find
time in-between going to NY and working four 10 hours days a week to
load the necessary software onto the new notebook / laptap computer
which some of our newsgroup members helped the ministry to purchase.
However, after finishing loading the software this week, I have all
the software installed that I need to perform the necessary functions of
the ministry and sending out the HHMI newsgroup e-mail. I will be
taking the notebook / laptop computer with me for the first time on
my next trip to NY which will be August 6-9, 2000. Thank you for
your patience and understanding regarding this matter.
TRIP
TO ISRAEL
The Pastor in NY is taking a group of people to Israel from
January 29 - February 7, 2001. The Pastor asked me to go with him and
the group to Israel and also asked me to invite the Hebraic Heritage newsgroup
members to go with us. There are about 2,000 people who attend the
church each weekend and about 90 people have signed up from the
church to go to Israel. I have accepted the Pastor's invitation and
we would be blessed if many of our newsgroup members would go with
us.
For those of you who have been to Israel or who have looked into
doing so in the past know that it is not uncommon for such a trip to
cost anywhere from $2200 - $2900. However, our 10 day trip to Israel
will only cost $1849. How are we able to get such a GREAT price for
our trip to Israel? What is unknown to many who go to Israel with
tour groups and various ministries is that there are "administrative
costs" which add no value to the tour and are commonly included in
the total tour price of many tours to Israel. Because these
particular costs add no value to the trip to Israel, they have been
eliminated for our tour to Israel and for this reason this fantastic
price can be offered to those who would like to go with us to Israel.
We will visit the following places in Israel:
Caesara. Mount Carmel, Galilee, Capernaum, Mount of
Beatitudes,
Golan, Megiddo, Beit Shean, Jericho, Jerusalem, Qumeran, Dead Sea,
Masada, Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Yad Vashem, Rabbi's Tunnel, Old
City, Upper Room, Emmaus, Tel Aviv among other places.
A $100 deposit is required to secure your reservation. Final
payment is required 45 days prior to departure. If you would like to
go to Israel with us, please make out a check for $100 to (HOLYLAND
WORKSHOPS) per person along with the name of the person (s) who will
be attending along with your address and telephone number and mail

30 minutes from Brooklyn, NY.
UPDATE
ON TRIPS TO NY
Once again, I would like to thank those newsgroup members whom
the God of Israel has put it upon your heart to support the ministry
of HHMI in NY. So far, things are going EXTREMELY WELL and only the
BEST that I could have ever imagined. Time has been mostly spent so
far building RELATIONSHIP with the Pastor. I have had meetings with
the Pastor at his office, at restaurants as well as having Sunday
meals with the Pastor's family at his home.
I am so blessed to be able to witness the Pastor and the church's
love for the Jewish people, the land of Israel and a heart to embrace
our rich Hebraic Heritage in Messiah. The church has a flag of Israel
in the front of the santuary, several Israel banners and last week
the Pastor blew the shofar during the service. In the past month that
I have been in NY, the church has had several Messianic guest
speakers. Several months ago, the church started to have Friday night
services. In the one Friday night service that I attended, the Pastor
introduced the service as SHABBAT!
Because things have developed so well during this period of time
spent to develop RELATIONSHIP with the Pastor, the Pastor told me
during my last visit to NY that he wants to work with me to come up
with a "game plan" to begin teaching the Hebraic roots of
Christianity to the church leadership and then to the entire church.
Because there are 12 associated churches affiliated with this
"mother" church and because the Pastor is the Executive Director of a
NETWORKING organization with other churches in the USA and several
foreign countries, the potential is HUGE for this Hebraic roots outreach to
bless so much of the Long Island / Brooklyn NY area and people in
foreign countries.
The Will of the God of Israel, His provision, your prayers and
financial support of the ministry makes the plan and purposes of the
God of Israel to have churches in the NY area embrace the Hebraic
roots of Christianity and hopefully and
eventually to the NETWORK of ministries which are associated with the
"mother" church in NY possible. The Lord is indeed blessing the
efforts of the ministry in the NY area. I give the Lord God of Israel
all the praise, glory and honor for His blessings upon the ministry.
